NOE VALLEY
We knew this was a special home the moment we walked in, with views of the city from the front stairs, backyard and virtually every window in the house. This 1906 Victorian had seen better days but was solid and we had a vision. While there wasn’t much left in the way of original details inside, we did salvage what we could. We restored the original box ceiling in the dining room, the entryway millwork and the original front door. In addition, we added period details such as antique hardware, moulding and custom stained glass from a local artisan. While we opened the main floor up to create a more open concept, the spaces are still clearly defined which stays true to the character of the home. We increased the size to 3100 square feet and took it from a 3 bed 2 bath home to a 5 bed 3.5 bath.
